FAQs & Policies


What materials do you use?

We always try to use the most eco friendly materials possible in all of our products. Below is a litst of what we use for each item:

Books: Inside: 100% recycled (25% Hemp) tree free drawing paper, Outside: Covers are printed using water based inks on FSC certified paper. The books are bound together with 100% cotton based imitation leather straps.

Bags: Tote bags and carry-all pouches are made primarily with Eco Canvas, a heavyweight 100% polyester canvas made with 45% recycled content.

Hats: Our first run of hats were printed on cotton twill with an inkjet printer but the process was not as eco friendly as we’d like, so they’re currently discounted until they go out of stock.

 

What shipping method do you use and when will my order ship?

All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail within 1-2 business days. Both Alex and Liz work full time outside of Vulture Gear and can only dedicate time to shipping every few days. After an item is shipped it should take about 1-4 business days to get to you and we’ll send updates along the way!

At this time we only ship within the United States and US Territories, but if you’re interested in getting an order shipped internationally just get in touch and we’ll see what we can do!

 

What’s your return/exchange policy?

We accept returns or exchanges on orders of hats due to fit issues within 7 days of delivery. Hats cannot be damaged, dirty, or washed to be accepted for return or exchange.

We accept exchanges on all other items in our store and will exchange your original item for an item within the same category (ie. one sketchbook for another). Items cannot be damaged or used to be accepted for exchange (except for in the cases of damage caused by shipping).

In most cases, returns and exchanges will need to be sent back to us at 1854 Hendersonville Rd, Ste A PMB 236, Asheville, NC 28803, though products not made by hand will need to be sent back to our manufacturer at 11025 Westlake Drive, Charlotte, NC 28273

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
